1.你是什么，比你做了什么更重要。如果你和人的关系不对，神不要你的礼物。

「所以你在祭坛前献礼物，若想起你的弟兄向你怀怨，就要把礼物留在坛前，先去与你的弟兄和好，然后来献礼物。」（太5:23-24）

Therefore if you are offering your gift at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, Leave your gift there before the altar, and first go and be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. －Mt.5:23-24

2.你愿意人怎样待你，你就怎么待人，因为你有多少怜悯，神也就怜悯你多少。

「因为你们若赦免人的过犯，你们的天父也必赦免你们；你们若不赦免人的过犯，你们的父也必不赦免你们的过犯。」（太6:14-15）

For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will forgive you also; But if you do not forgive men their offenses, neither will your Father forgive your offenses. －Mt.6:14-15

3.一个没心肝的人，总是忘记自己曾经欠下一屁股债，却永远记住别人欠他一块钱。

「于是主人把他叫来，对他说，你这恶仆，因你央求我，我就把你一切所欠的都免了；你岂不应当怜悯和你同作奴仆的，像我怜悯你么？」（太18:32-33）

Then his master called him to him and said to him, Evil slave, all that debt I forgave you, because you begged me. Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave even as I had mercy on you?－Mt.18:32-33

4.只能原谅别人一次，不是真正的原谅；同一天赦免一个人七次，只有神的恩慈和忍耐能做到。

「你们要小心，若是你的弟兄犯了罪，就责备他；他若悔改，就赦免他。若是他一天七次得罪你，又七次回转，对你说，我悔改了，你总要赦免他。」（路17:3-4）

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day and turns again to you seven times, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him. －Lu.17:3-4

5.人都是等人悔改了，才愿意赦免他们；只有那一位在别人正要杀祂的时候，就已经赦免他们了。

「他们到了一个地方，名叫髑髅地，就在那里将耶稣钉了十字架，也钉了那两个犯人，一个在右边，一个在左边。当下耶稣说，父阿，赦免他们，因为他们所作的，他们不晓得。......」（路23:33-34）

And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. －Lu.23:33-34
