在我们的人生中，总有些事情让我们感到遗憾及后悔，
无论是错过了什么人、事、物，想起来偶尔会懊悔万分，虽不致于搥胸顿足，却也叫人心里失落。
而有些人，他们所选择的人生是他们不曾后悔过的，或许没有建立什么丰功伟业，也没有所谓的轰轰烈烈，
但他们却能拍着胸脯告诉千万的人说：『这是我不后悔的人生！』

我个人相当喜欢第一节，第一次听到是在我去马来西亚旅行的时候，跟几位马来西亚的大专生一起唱的，也是在这首诗歌发表没多久之后。
第一次唱，我竟然就毫不为难地把第一节背下来了，没有花太多的时间，歌词和旋律就不自觉的朗朗上口。
或许是因为歌词中的内容非常打动我，开头就先问了一个很多对基督信仰不感兴趣的人都会问的问题：
『为什么要信耶稣？为什么要把时间花在教会里？』
而副歌便给出了答案：『因为看见了基督与召会的异象，彻底的估价之后才会愿意付上相应的代价，因为知道没有一物能与之相比。能有份于神在祂经纶里的行动，将世界撇弃，活出一个没有遗憾的人生』
圣经里面有些人，他们愿意至死忠信的跟随耶稣，我想，也就是看见了同样的价值吧。
